Can I make changes to an existing card?
There are a few scenarios where you may need to update the information associated with an existing card. Please read the relevant section below to learn what’s possible.
Changing the shipping address
If you have already requested a physical card, you’ll see an update when you click the bell icon on the top right. To update the shipping address, click the notification details, and select Change Address under the shipping address.
You can also update the shipping address of a personal card from the Wallet page. Click the three dots on your card icon and select View shipping details.
Changing the billing address
Depending on the circumstances, Brex Support can update the billing address for a single card without changing your overall account address. Please chat with us to make this change.
Changing the name
In your dashboard
Step 1: In Wallet, find the card you want to rename. You may need to click View all budgets and cards.
Step 2: Click the three dots > Rename.
Step 3: Enter the card name and click Save.
Note: For physical cards, this will update their name in your dashboard, but you’ll need to replace the card if you want to update the name printed on it.
In your app
Note: Please make sure you’ve updated your Brex app to the latest version.
Step 1: From your Wallet, tap on the primary card at the top of the screen.
If you want to rename a different card, scroll down to Other cards and tap the card you want to rename there, instead.
Step 2: Tap More > Rename card.
