You can manage notification preferences from either the Brex dashboard or mobile app. We’ve added increased flexibility for you to subscribe to or unsubscribe from notifications that are most important to you. Here are some ways you can customize notifications, whether in the dashboard or mobile app:
Make non-essential notifications available to users to unsubscribe from as opposed to having no choice.
Improve the experience for users to navigate notification preferences by: grouping notifications by function/criticality/frequency, navigating notifications by categories, and supplying clear user-friendly labels for notifications.
Dashboard
Communication preferences are highly customizable in the Brex dashboard, including options for mobile push, SMS, or email notifications for various kinds of account activities. To review and update notification settings, follow the steps below.
Step 1: From the Brex dashboard, click your name in the upper right corner, then click Settings.
Step 2: Click Notifications. Review the available alert types and use the toggles or dropdown menus to update how you receive communications.
Mobile
You can choose to opt-in for push notifications, SMS notifications, or both. You'll receive SMS notifications for in-person transactions and push notifications for both in-person and online transactions.
To check that your notifications are enabled or disabled, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Open the Brex app.
Step 2: Tap Settings.
Step 3: Tap Notifications.
Step 4: Toggle Push notifications and SMS notifications on or off.
