Can I request a 1099 form from Brex?


Brex Cash accounts

If you have a Brex Cash account, your primary account admin will be emailed a 1099-DIV form at the beginning of the calendar year–by mid-February at the latest, in time for tax season. These stipulate the dividends you’ve received from the money market fund that your Brex Cash funds are invested in.

Note: You’ll only receive these documents if you meet the following qualifications:

  • You have an incorporation type LLC or LLP.

  • You are not a corporation.

  • You have over $10 in dividends.

Brex card accounts

You won’t receive a Form 1099 from Brex, since you aren’t considered a Brex vendor and haven’t earned revenue from Brex.
