Vendor cards are created with automatic lock dates. If you or one of your employees need to use your vendor card again after this date, any account or card admin can modify the card’s lock date. Please follow the steps below, depending on your role type.

Account/card admins modifying their own vendor card

Step 1: Navigate to Card > Manage cards and locate the card you want to modify.

Step 2: Click the three dots next to the card name and select Modify.

Step 3: In the Card lock date field, set your preferred card lock date and click Save.

Note: If this is your first time updating your vendor card’s lock date, you will be prompted to enter a reason for unlocking the card.

Account/card admins modifying a user’s vendor card

Step 1: Under Team > Users, search the name of the user.

Step 2: Click on their name and select View all of [User’s] cards.

Step 3: Select the vendor card you want to modify.

Step 4: Click the three dots to the right of the card’s name and select Modify.

Step 5: In the pop-up window, select the date that you would like to change the lock date to and click Save.

With Brex Empower, vendor cards are replaced with budgets.
