Overview

Managing corporate spend might require different account documents, ranging from reports of spending to forms as required by your vendors. Below, we’ve included several examples of documents that our customers find useful, as well as guidelines for how to locate them. Note: Any report or document that you download as a CSV can be opened as a spreadsheet in Excel.

Statements

As an account admin, card admin, or bookkeeper, you can download statements from your Brex dashboard by following the steps below. Note: If you export your statement to CSV, it can be opened in Excel as a spreadsheet.

Card statements

Step 1: Go to Accounts on the left side of your dashboard, then Credit > View statements. Step 2: Your statements will appear in the list on this page as they are generated at the end of each statement cycle. To export, click the download icon to the right of each statement row. Note: You can find your outstanding balance by exporting in XLSX format.

Brex business account statements

Step 1: Go to Accounts > Business accounts. Step 2: Your statements will appear in the table next to the specific Brex business account as they are generated at the end of each statement cycle. To export, click the download icon under Latest statements. Alternatively, if you are looking for a comprehensive overview of all statements, click View all Statements to open a side panel that allows you to filter by accounts or dates.

Reimbursement statements

Step 1: Go to Accounts > Reimbursements > Statements in your dashboard. Step 2: Your statements will appear in the table on this page as they are generated at the end of each statement cycle. To export, click the download icon to the right of each statement row.

Transaction reports

In addition to the card statements you receive every statement period, you can also generate a custom transaction report at any time.

Card expenses

Account admins, card admins, and bookkeepers can pull reports for card expenses made by everyone on your team. Other role types can generate an expense report for their personal expenses. Step 1: In your dashboard, go to Expenses. Step 2: Review and select the filters you want to apply for your custom report. You can select any date range, expense type, spend limit(s), out-of-policy transactions, transaction status, or last four digits of the card the transaction was made with. The list of transactions will update automatically with the filters you’ve selected. You can download receipts by clicking Include receipts in export. Receipts are in order of purchase date and expense ID, which you’ll see in the report. Step 3: Once all filters are set, click Download. You'll then see a banner indicating that your export is in progress, which will update to show when it's complete. If you’d like, you can also select the option to receive a notification email once the export is ready for download.

Cash transactions

Account admins can generate reports for all Brex business account transactions made on your account. Step 1: In your dashboard, go to Accounts > Business accounts > Transactions. Step 2: Customize your report by selecting a date range. Step 3: Click Export on the right.

Account verification document

All account admins have the ability to download a verification letter for their Brex business account. Vendors and other third parties may accept this letter as confirmation of your Brex business account details in lieu of a voided check. Step 1: In your dashboard, navigate to Accounts > Business account. Step 2: Click the name of the Brex business account you’d like a verification letter for. Step 3: Go to Account Settings > Wire details > Download verification letter.

Voided check

We don’t provide voided checks, but have found that you can use the account verification document listed above as an alternative in most cases.
