When I report fraud on my card am I required to cancel it?

To help protect your information and prevent further unauthorized charges, submitting a fraud dispute will automatically cancel the card.

If your physical card was compromised, you’ll receive a replacement card with a new card number in 7-10 business days. While you wait, you can continue to use your virtual card.

If you’re not sure whether a transaction was fraudulent, you can lock your card temporarily while you investigate within your company or with the merchant. For instructions, please read My Brex card was lost/stolen. How can I lock it?.
