How do I approve reimbursements?

Reasons for failure There are multiple reasons why a reimbursement request might fail. Some examples include inputting an invalid account/routing number, attempting to use an unverified bank account, or exceeding your 7-day rolling reimbursement limit.
When your team travels for business purposes, they can submit a reimbursement request to cover the costs of the distance traveled. As an employee, you can submit reimbursement requests for expenses from your personal cards for your admin to review. To do so, follow the steps below. In the dashboard Step 1: Under the Expenses tab of the Brex dashboard, click Requests.
You can delete a pending reimbursement request by following the steps below, so long as it hasn’t been approved yet. In your dashboard Step 1: Go to Expenses and click on the reimbursement request you want to cancel. Step 2: At the bottom of the details window, click Cancel request.
Requesting less than the expense amount When going through the flow to submit a reimbursement request, the Amount field may auto-populate to the entire cost of the expense you’re requesting reimbursement for.

To get started, international employees need to make sure they connect their personal bank account. Employees will be reimbursed in the same currency that their bank account is set up in (generally local currency).
