Spend requests enable users to submit requests for vendor cards or temporary user limit increases on their corporate cards. Account or card admins can approve, deny, or modify these requests. Account and card admins can follow the steps below to get started.
Step 1: Under Expenses on the left side of your dashboard, click Requests.
Step 2: If it’s your first time on this page, a modal will automatically pop up. The first step of the setup modal explains spend request features.
Step 3: Select a primary approver for the company who will receive a notification each time a user submits a request for a vendor card or temporary user limit increase. Any account or card admin can approve, deny, or modify a pending request.
Step 4: You'll see a preview of an email Brex can send to all cardholders within your company. Select Don’t send to opt out. After this step, you have successfully opted into spend requests.
Account or card admins can now return to the Requests page to view any pending requests and users can submit requests by clicking Get a new card on the Manage cards page.
