With the recent CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) Act in motion, it’s important for businesses to understand the new avenues available to access government guaranteed funding, including the Paycheck Protection Program. In this webinar, Brex co-founder and co-CEO, Henrique Dubugras, and VP of Cash, Erica Dorfman, will discuss the ways the CARES Act has changed how businesses should think about emergency funding in the wake of Coronavirus.
Henrique Dubugras: Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Brex. A Brazilian entrepreneur, Henrique built payments company Pagar.me — the Stripe of Brazil — when he was sixteen years old. In just three years, Pagar.me grew to $1.5 billion in volume of transactions processed. In the fall of 2016, Henrique sold Pagar.me and enrolled at Stanford University. After eight months, he left school and founded Brex.
Erica Dorfman: VP of Cash at Brex, where she manages Brex’s business cash management account offering and Brex’s capital markets financing. Prior to joining the company, she was Head of Finance & Operations at Tally, and previously Co-Head of Capital Markets at SoFi. Erica began her career at J.P. Morgan and holds a degree in economics from Columbia University.
