What is Gogo Worldwide Vacations?
Founded in 1951 by Fred Kassner and Gilbert Haroche, Gogo Worldwide Vacations was one of the leading wholesale vacation package providers in the United States, offering travel agents access to curated vacation packages spanning more than 200 destinations across four continents. Operating on a strictly B2B model, the company generated revenue through vacation package commissions and an annual membership fee program that granted travel agents access to its booking platform. Acquired by Flight Centre Travel Group in 2007, Gogo Worldwide Vacations operated alongside sister brand Liberty Travel until Flight Centre permanently shut it down in February 2024 as part of a strategic restructuring, ending 73 years of operation.
