Relationship Management at Brex

The Relationship Management team is responsible for existing-client revenue at Brex, as well as the cross sale of new products, including our new Pry Financials platform. Every member of our team directly affects our bottom line and is also a key driving force in why our clients love us.

The RM team’s mission is to retain our clients by helping them realize their full potential with Brex by:

  • Increasing share of wallet on our suite of products
  • Cross-selling new solutions (such as Brex Cash - our banking product; Pry Fiancials - our accounting and financial modeling platform; Brex Empower - our Expense Management; and Bill Pay software)
  • Retaining our client relationships, and proactively identifying and addressing reasons for churn
  • Communicating client feedback and needs to the Brex Product team to help inform the evolving client experience and future product development

What you’ll do

You will be a dedicated Relationship Manager to a portfolio of our most strategic venture backed healthcare clients, including healthcare IT, biotech, medical device, and pharmaceutical platforms. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with these clients and ensuring they are set up for success on Brex by increasing our share of wallet, cross-selling new solutions, and proactively supporting client satisfaction. On a daily basis, you will be an advisor to our most strategic clients in the healthcare verticals.  You will support your portfolio both in product and out of product, referring clients to external advisors and capital providers as their needs evolve.

As a dedicated Relationship Manager, you will personify Brex’s brand to our clients, and you should take this very seriously. At Brex, our clients come before anything else and you will be expected to do everything in your power to ensure they are happy and successful.

Responsibilities

  • Drive net-new revenue growth by increasing our existing clients’ spending on the Brex Card
  • Cross-sell our new spend management software–Empower
  • Cross-sell Brex Cash 
  • Cross-sell Pry Financials
  • Interact with CEOs/CFOs/Controllers on a daily basis and provide strategic guidance on how to streamline their financial operations through our solutions and referrals to our trusted network
  • Advise on best practices for similar healthcare companies as they are considering important organizational, regulatory, and go-to-market strategies
  • Leverage data to monitor the health of your client-portfolio and step in when necessary to mitigate churn
  • Develop strategic plans on how to improve our clients’ experience (i.e: through product feature improvements and underwriting and risk policy changes)
  • Nurture and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure higher lifetime value and client loyalty

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of previous experience at a B2B SaaS (Healthcare IT) company or financial services company in a customer success, relationship management, or sales role  
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in the healthcare industry, including knowledge of market and regulatory processes and trends, as well as venture capital fundraising dynamics
  • Proven track record of hitting and exceeding quotas
  • Consistently in the top 10% of the stack ranking
