Channel Sales at Brex
The Channel Sales team is one of the driving factors behind revenue for Brex. Every member of our team directly affects Brex’s bottom line. At a high-level, the Channel Sales team engages directly with professional and investment partners that refer clients to Brex. This role combines aspects of sales, partner management, and account management into one. We help partners and investors refer clients to Brex, work with those clients to get approved for Brex, and then support those clients when they have future needs.

What you’ll do
This is a unique opportunity to be a founding member of a rapidly growing team at a disruptive financial services company. Your top priorities will be managing partner relationships and growing partner referrals to help Brex hit key OKRs. Each member will own a key channel function - tooling, data, outbounding - to help us achieve our collective team goals. You will also have the opportunity to define the processes needed to scale the team efficiently over the next several years. This means you will get to provide direct partner feedback to the product team, collaborate with marketing to define messaging, and work jointly with operations to improve processes. There is not an aspect of the business that you will not touch!

Responsibilities

  • Source, train, enable, and retain professional services, Accelerator & VC partners
  • Setup new partnerships by creating partner collateral such as training decks and landing pages
  • Assist partners’ clients with the application process and work directly with the Brex Onboarding team to ensure they have smooth transitions onto Brex
  • Work closely with Support and Enablement to become a subject matter expert on all of Brex’s core product offerings
  • Manage relationships with partners’ clients to ensure an optimal experiences on Brex
  • Partner closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations on roadmap development to drive channel referral growth
  • Create and reiterate internal processes for scale
  • Create and manage outbound campaigns
  • Create and manage a strong pipeline of qualified leads 

Requirements

  • 1+ years of partner management, sales, and/or related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to collaborate with various teams across the globe remotely
  • Motivated by quotas and targets
  • Passionate about financial services
  • Champion mindset with a strong native desire to win

Bonus points

  • CPA and/or Series 7 licenses
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Looker, Excel, & Retool
  • Accounting degree or experience
  • Experience in quota-carrying role
  • Investor relations, venture backed or startup accelerator experience
  • Previous experience working directly with Professional Services (accounting firms, law firms, etc)
