Executive Recruiting Team at Brex

The Executive Recruiting team is responsible for hiring leadership across every business function at Brex.  These roles require a high touch, high level of service to not only our internal executive team but also for every candidate that the team engages and comes into contact with. As part of the larger Recruiting team, you will be an integral part of the growth engine, enabling our teams to hire world-class talent at incredible speed. We partner with leaders across the company to act as talent advisors. We ensure that despite our fast-paced growth, we keep candidate experience, diversity, and operational efficiency at the core of all processes. We are collaborative and supportive, always focusing on the success of the team. We help candidates dream big for both their careers and the future of Brex.

What you’ll do

As an Executive Sourcer you will own the research and engagement strategy for the most senior and high profile searches. You will build and execute sourcing strategies to identify and attract diverse talent across every business function at Brex. 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive recruiters and hiring managers to help drive the search execution process for Director level and above roles
  • Identify and engage passive talent using a wide range of sourcing tools
  • Build and maintain a network of engaged executive talent across functions
  • Conduct initial phone screens to generate interest in Brex and evaluate candidates against desired competencies
  • Develop strong client relationships, and become a trusted talent advisor to hiring managers
  • Partner with Executive Recruiters to compile thorough and relevant, yet creative, target company lists.

Requirements

Basic:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience 
  • 2+ years agency and/or corporate executive sourcing and/or recruiting experience

Preferred:

  • A combination of top tier executive search and in-house leadership sourcing experience
  • Prior experience in a high-growth technology company
  • Strong analytical mindset and extremely detail oriented
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, energetic, "can-do" attitude in a fast-moving environment. Comfortable driving and influencing change, and changing priorities as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Will be a self-starter but team-oriented
