We identify and scope out the most impactful opportunities for Brex to tackle. We have a deep understanding of the business and are responsible for aligning cross-functional teams across the company around key decisions. We work cross-functionally with teams at Brex across engineering, legal, compliance, design, and many more to set strategy, define a roadmap, and drive products from inception to launch to ensure Brex continues to evolve for the benefit of our customers.

What you’ll do

As a member of the Product Management team at Brex, you will be responsible for owning the roadmap and strategy of your product line (Universal Experiences), aligning multiple teams and stakeholders, and creating product features, models and tools that enable our customers to easily utilize and enjoy Brex products. An individual in this role should enjoy spending significant time both with customer and internal product, engineering and design stakeholders on understanding current pain points and needs, and identify opportunities for building and improving our products. 

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for Brex’s core product experiences including Brex card experiences and wayfinding, information architecture
  • Establish the vision for the product team. Challenge the status quo and inspire people toward a unified outcome
  • Set clear goals and metrics for the team and be held accountable to achieving them
  • Efficiently execute to ship product and deliver impact for our business and customers
  • Define new products and features by working closely with segment specific product teams, payments, business development, partners, growth, data and operations
  • Lead large, cross-functional groups of people to deliver on the team’s mission.
  • Communicate concisely and influence outcomes across Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, Payments, and Partners.

Requirements

  • Product experience: 5+ years of PM or relevant experience.
  • Technical expertise: You’ve led product teams responsible for amazing core customer-facing experiences that were adopted by multiple teams, business units, segments, or personas. 
  • Analytical: Aptitude for digging deep into the data, thinking from first principles, running experiments, evaluating funnels, diagnosing product launches, and delivering meaningful impact. 
  • Customer and craft obsessed: You have experience and enjoy driving continuous product improvement based on customer feedback and data
  • Team-first: The team comes first and you have proven experience working well with a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders. 
  • Crisp communicator: High attention to detail including precise and effective communications around product concepts, roadmaps, and execution. You have a knack for bringing clarity to disjointed or large groups on thorny issues. 
  • Results-oriented: You embrace doing whatever it takes to execute on complex projects.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: Self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment, deals well with ambiguity and focuses on driving impact.

  • The ability to inspire and lead a team/project effectively (providing updates, meeting deadlines and driving decisions forward)
  • Experience creating a centralized product feedback process that helped contribute to quarterly planning and product prioritization
  • Experience writing/editing/contributing to documentation, training materials, help articles to support product launches
