Product at Brex

The Product organization identifies and scopes out the most impactful opportunities for Brex to tackle. Our Product Managers have a deep understanding of the business and are responsible for aligning cross-functional teams across the company around key decisions. They work most closely with the Engineering and Design teams to set a well thought-out product strategy and define a roadmap that ensures Brex's products continue to evolve for the benefit of our customers. 

What you’ll do

You’ll be joining the Growth team - a cross functional group of marketers, product managers, designers, engineers and data scientists - working to scale Brex to hundreds of thousands of businesses. This role will be focused primarily on growth acquisition, bringing new customers to Brex and helping them start the application process.

As a senior member of the Product Management team at Brex, you will be responsible for owning the roadmap and strategy of the website, aligning multiple teams and stakeholders, and creating product features and initiatives that enable millions of small businesses to discover Brex and easily start onboarding. Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the strategy for Brex.com. Working to achieve both conversion rate improvements as well as developing our brand and messaging.
  • Establish the vision for the product team. Challenge the status quo and inspire people toward a unified outcome. 
  • Create clear goals for the team. Efficiently execute to ship product and deliver impact for our business and customers.
  • Lead large, cross-functional groups of people to deliver on the team’s mission. Communicate concisely and influence outcomes.
  • Partnering closely with the rest of the growth team to opportunity size and improve on different top-of-funnel channels (paid, referrals, SEO, email, and more)
  • Define new products and features by working closely with engineering, design, data and operations to launch them
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team including Engineering, Operations, Sales, and partner with other Product Managers

Requirements

  • Experience building onboarding systems and understanding user funnels to drive growth 
  • Strong in both the art and science of growth: knowing when to lean on numbers and experimentation, and when to dream big and find a new direction.
  • Obsess about continuous product improvement based on customer feedback and data
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for detailed articulations of problems we face as a business and how to solve them

Bonus points

  • The ability to inspire and lead a team/project effectively (providing updates, meeting deadlines and driving decisions forward)
  • Experience creating a centralized product feedback process that helped contribute to quarterly planning and product prioritization
  • Experience writing/editing/contributing to documentation, training materials, help articles to support product launches
  • Running QA testing programs for product launches
