What You’ll do
As the HR Coordinator for Israel, you will be the culture champion for the Israel office, be the primary point of contact for all Israel employee experience needs, and provide administrative support for our employees. You have excellent customer service skills, build rapport quickly with employees, and have exceptional attention to detail when managing data entry into Workday. The ideal candidate is process driven, solutions focused, a team player, passionate about building and sustaining culture, and has an incredible work ethic. 

Responsibilities 
Be the face of the People Team for new hires and employees based out of Israel; act as the culture centerpoint for our Israel office and provide HR, Office Management, and IT Support for employees:

Core / HR responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and office management support for all Israel employees; including supporting onboarding & offboarding, employment verifications, supporting employee mobility
  • Maintain confidential employee e-files ensuring accuracy and compliance 
  • Support HRIS data integrity by ensuring employee data is accurate
  • Provide Tier 1 HR support for all Brex employees during all aspects of the employee lifecycle 
  • Liaise between Brex Employees and our Payroll team 
  • Document workflow and procedures, and proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement
  • Assisting the People Operations team with various projects and initiatives as needed

Office responsibilities:

  • Provide general support for mailing, shipping, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands (need to be flexible, time and detail-oriented)
  • Ensure all conference rooms, kitchen, and common areas are prepared/tidied
  • Manage relationships with vendors and building management
  • Address employee inquiries regarding office management issues
  • Manage seating charts to accommodate headcount growth
  • Willingness to take on ad hoc projects
  • Be an ambassador for Brex’s culture
  • Partner with People team, Payroll, IT, and third-party vendors, to deliver excellent service and support to Brex employees

IT responsibilities:

  • Partner with IT team to design the IT onboarding curriculum and deliver IT onboarding to new Israel employees
  • Provide Tier 1 IT Support for Israel employees by consulting available self-help resources to troubleshoot and resolve basic issues; escalate more complex support needs to IT and identify appropriate level of urgency

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree is required 
  • 1+ years of experience working in the HR function, specifically supporting onboarding initiatives; experience in office management a plus
  • Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management
  • Desire to learn and grow within the HR function, passionate about understanding HR process and systems
  • Demonstrated ability to act with discretion, and have exceptional integrity and judgment in handling confidential information 
  • Able to build trust and rapport quickly
  • Thorough and fantastic organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and project manage
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets the business needs 

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Workday
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills (e.g., if/then statements, VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, formulas) 
  • Knowledge of Israel labor laws and best practices
