The Recruiting team is the growth engine, enabling our teams to hire world-class talent at incredible speed. We partner with leaders across the company to act as talent advisors. We ensure that despite our fast-paced growth, we keep candidate experience, diversity, and operational efficiency at the core of all processes. What you’ll do

You will build and scale Brex’s recruiting efforts across the US and Canada for security, infrastructure, or backend end/front end engineering roles. This involves everything from market research, operational logistics, and branding, to sourcing and closing candidates. Most importantly, you will partner directly with engineering leaders across the company and be a strategic thought partner to building world class teams that are diverse and inclusive. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of recruiters and sourcers that focused on specialized tech hiring
  • Build and scale recruiting processes across the entire tech recruiting organization, such as interviewing, operations, and programs
  • Use data to drive and implement approaches to hiring strategies
  • Act as an advisor and thought leader to hiring managers and the Brex Leadership Team
  • Take on recruiter responsibilities as needed and maintain high close rates

Requirements

  • 2+ years of recruiting management experience
  • Experience using various hiring techniques to identify and attract top talent
  • Strong track record of successful negotiation/closing tactics
  • Deep understanding of the engineering talent market and how to hire effectively
  • Experience driving and program managing large projects with cross functional partners
  • Experience partnering with HR, Finance, and Compensation teams to plan and execute on hiring needs

Bonus points

  • Prior startup experience
  • Experience managing larger teams
  • Deep understanding of the talent pool in North America (US + Canada), and how to hire effectively in new markets
