Operations at Brex

The Operations team is the bridge between our product and our customers. Our priority is to keep our customers happy and their businesses protected, while delivering vital information back to our internal teams. We are responsible for underwriting all of our customers, while simultaneously managing Brex’s risk exposures. We work cross-functionally with Risk, Compliance, Data, and Engineering to allow Brex to scale efficiently, keeping quality top of mind.

What you’ll do

As the Card Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for building out the team managing declines mitigation and investigation, card printing, and all operational elements of internationalization for Card Operations. Providing the best possible card experience for our customers is of the utmost importance, and your team will ensure that experience exists.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a Card Operations Team focused on the day-to-day needs of ensuring our Card Product is excellent
  • Manage our Card printing process inclusive of international printing and shipping
  • Mitigate card decline issues on a daily basis, thereby improving our customer experience
  • Identify areas for improvement in the transaction process

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Payments, Consulting or Finance
  • Credit Card industry experience
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of the credit card transaction cycle 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
