Operations at Brex

The Operations team is the bridge between our product and our customers. Our priority is to keep our customers happy and their businesses protected, while delivering vital information back to our internal teams. We are responsible for underwriting all of our customers, while simultaneously managing Brex’s risk exposures. We work cross-functionally with Risk, Compliance, Data, and Engineering to allow Brex to scale efficiently, keeping quality top of mind.

What you’ll do

Brex is seeking a professional with extensive experience in Instructional Design and excels in effective transfer of training into performance results. You will partner with other Business Partners in delivering a consistent training experience that directly impacts the success of Brex.  Our ideal candidate will have experience in developing learning in both a traditional waterfall (ADDIE) and agile learning environment.


  • Design training utilizing e-learning, game-based learning and other delivery methods that will support the acceleration of learning as measured by business performance
  • Apply advanced adult learning theories into a practical, application-based training strategy
  • Update/edit/maintain existing eLearning and other courseware
  • Load courseware and documentation to a Learning Management System, interlinking content to internal and external content as needed, and managing pages within the site for clean, intuitive, accurate display
  • Design learning that reflects an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learner, including the demonstrated understanding of cultural differences that may apply


  • Proven e-learning Design and Development experience and experience designing, developing and delivering emerging learning solutions including game-based learning simulations and immersive scenarios requiring multiple branching elements strongly preferred
  • Strong proficiency with industry standard design software (Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline 3 and Captivate 10) including learning management systems to drive the delivery of training solutions
  • Experience using rapid development and in the design and development of blended learning solutions
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and the ability to drive innovation
  • Excellent analytical skill, experience with using learning management systems to drive the delivery of training solutions
  • The ability to communicate effectively in visual, oral and written form and deliver engaging presentations
