What you’ll do: 

The Senior Director, Marketing Operations should have deep experience in marketing planning and operations, omni-channel marketing program development & execution and marketing analytics. You’ll bring an understanding of agile marketing best practices and tools - and a passion for using data to constantly test, learn and guide marketing decision-making. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, budgeting and forecasting of the marketing department; create and optimize processes, tools and standards to improve how the marketing organization works together and with other departments. 
  • Define key marketing metrics, establish associated reports and dashboards; drive discipline and rigor in evaluating marketing’s impact within the team and broader business.
  • Together with cross-functional leaders, establish buyer’s journey entry and exit criteria; define workflows to measure stage progression and partner with the business systems team to implement.  
  • Assess the current martech stack and identify areas of improvement to fill existing gaps. Own the review, procurement and implementation of new marketing tools. 
  • Establish lead scoring to identify contacts and accounts with a high propensity to buy; optimize lead routing processes together with GTM Operations.
  • Execute targeting and segmentation across key prospect and customer segments and personas. Maintain database health, providing high quality prospect lists to demand generation and brand campaign teams. 
  • Lead and execute marketing rhythm of business (ROB), including weekly all hands team meeting, marketing leadership meeting, monthly alignment and performance tracking meetings with critical internal stakeholders and QBRs with senior leadership team.
  • Build a team of passionate, action-oriented, data-driven experts that own and support marketing operations and technologies.

Requirements: 

  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated success implementing multi-channel marketing programs and measuring ROI
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence people and cross-functional teams 
  • In-depth understanding of marketing automation, digital marketing, CRM and lead routing tools; hands-on experience managing Marketo, Outreach, Drift.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in leading successful B2B marketing operations teams in software or SaaS product companies
  • Experience engaging at an executive level with cross-functional groups
  • Knowledge and experience with data security and privacy regulations (i.e., CAN-SPAM, GDPR)
  • Bachelor’s degree required (in business or marketing preferred)
