Engineering at Brex

What you’ll do

Brex is seeking a fiercely organized and technically skilled multi-tasker to join the IT Training team. We are looking for someone who is versatile in nature, with the ability to tackle challenges while maintaining an even keel and sense of humor. This person will be the core facilitator of the IT New Hire Orientation sessions. They will utilize robust troubleshooting experience to be the first line of defense for all on-boarding and off-boarding escalations. The ideal candidate is fearless with communication and feedback, and willing to fail in order to learn from their mistakes.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the newhire IT experience.  You will design and deliver the experience that helps our newhires be productive on day 1
  • Champion security standards when users are on-boarded or off-boarded
  • Implement scalable processes while working cross-functionally with the Helpdesk, Procurement, Infrastructure, and People teams
  • Create and execute company-wide standards for on-boarding new hires and contractors
  • Create internal and employee facing documentation of onboarding processes
  • Coordinate all remote IT on-boarding sessions for new hires
  • Continually iterate on processes as needed

Requirements

  • Background in training or organizational learning, with emphasis on delivering technical content
  • Extraordinary relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence others toward achieving common goals
  • Superlative written and verbal communication skills across multiple audiences, as well as an aptitude for presenting
  • Dedicated self-starter to identify a problem and improve processes
  • In-depth understanding of Google Apps for Business, workforce management systems, and the employee life-cycle
  • Experience in project planning and delivery; being able to identify a problem, and map out the scope of work and stakeholders to arrive at a scalable solution

Bonus points

  • Experience with Apple DEP and Azure AD onboarding setup flows
  • Previous experience onboarding a remote workforce
