Pedro Franceschi

Co-founder and CEO

Pedro Franceschi founded Brex in 2017 with Henrique Dubugras, and serves as CEO. A native of Rio de Janeiro, Franceschi was the first person to “jailbreak” the iPhone 3G in Brazil at age 13, and he co-founded payments company Pagar.me with Dubugras at age 15. In three years, he scaled it to over 100 people and US $1.5 billion in transactions processed.Franceschi enrolled at Stanford in 2016 after selling Pagar.me. A year later, he joined Y Combinator Winter 2017’s batch to found Brex with Dubugras after seeing how hard it was for early stage startups to access corporate cards. Since then, Franceschi has been building innovative, accessible financial services and software to empower companies at every stage of growth.

Erica Dorfman

EVP, Global Financial Products

Erica Dorfman is the Head of Global Financial Products at Brex, where her team is responsible for developing and executing Brex's strategy to support global customers. Her organization builds financial products from payments to employee reimbursements to virtual credit cards and budgets that enable seamless spending and expense management experiences around the world. Prior to joining Brex in 2019, Erica held executive positions at Tally Technologies and SoFi, where she was the Head of Capital Markets. She began her career on the investment banking team at J.P. Morgan and is a graduate of Columbia University.

Jason Mok

VP, Head of Startups and Strategic Partnerships

Jason Mok is the Head of Startups and Strategic Partnerships at Brex. Jason was previously an Operating Partner and GM at Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) where he managed a16z Seed and the firm’s first $400M Seed Fund. Previously at a16z, he led the Capital Network operating team (fka Corporate Development), assisting portfolio companies in raising capital, and optimizing M&A transaction value and IPOs. Prior to a16z, Jason spent 16 years at SVB where he most recently led their Consumer Internet vertical, focused on relationship management, debt financing, and making impactful connections for founders.

Ben Gammell

Chief Financial Officer & President

Ben Gammell is the Chief Financial Officer and President at Brex, where he's been a key player since early 2018. Today, Ben not only leads the Finance team but also oversees the Legal, Business Development, Systems, and Data teams. An unconventional CFO, Ben's role goes far beyond traditional financial oversight. He has played a crucial part in shaping Brex's strategic direction, having served as Chief of Staff to the CEO and stepping in to lead the Marketing, Business Development, and People teams during his tenure, giving him a deep understanding of the business. Before joining Brex, Ben worked at SoFi and began his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs.

Erik Zhou

Chief Accounting Officer

Erik Zhou is Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at Brex, overseeing corporate FP&A, Accounting, and Financial Reporting. He also led the formation of Brex’s broker-dealer in 2019 and serves as its president. Erik is also the host of Brex’s successful Controllers Classified podcast. Prior to Brex, Erik was a senior manager in PwC's Banking and Capital Markets practice. He was with PwC for over 11 years with experience working with broker-dealers, banks and large multi-national financial institutions, with a focus on securities operations, investments valuation, SEC and FINRA regulations, and financing transactions. Erik is an inactive Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Michael Tannenbaum

Former CFO and COO

Michael Tannenbaum served as Chief Operating Officer at Brex, where he helped scale the company from a three-person startup in 2017 to a global entity with more than 1,200 employees, over $300 million in revenue, and a multi-billion dollar valuation. Mr. Tannenbaum also served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Business Officer during his nearly seven years at Brex, and currently serves on the company’s board of directors. Prior to that, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at SoFi, where he played a key role in the company’s leadership.

Doug Adamic

Former Chief Revenue Officer

Doug Adamic is the Former Chief Revenue Officer at Brex, where he led the company's revenue and growth strategy. Doug has extensive leadership experience serving scaled companies. He was previously the Chief Revenue Officer at SAP Concur, and prior to that, he served as General Manager of Enterprise Americas Distribution where he oversaw the North America team. Doug also held a five-year tenure as an Enterprise Sales Manager for Kronos, Inc.

Chief Operations Officer

Camilla Matias Morais is the Chief Operations Officer at Brex, where she oversees Business and Payment Operations, Risk, Compliance, Credit, and Customer Support. Before her appointment to COO, Camilla served as Brex’s SVP of Global Operations for 4 years, where she led all credit card and broker dealer operations, as well as customer experience. Prior to Brex, Camilla led business planning, zero based budgeting, financial modeling and commodities finance at Kraft Heinz. She joined Kraft Heinz to support the merger of Kraft Foods and H.J. Heinz, which was led by 3G Capital and Warren Buffet. Before joining Kraft Heinz, Camilla worked in private equity and portfolio management in Brazil.
